Half a day in Drôme

Drôme has a lot of winding roads and fabulous landscapes. It is impossible to discover all its beauties in just half a day, but follow our guide to discover the essential geographical sites in under 6 hours!

Head to the Vercors

Allow around 4 hours for this circuit that can be done even by amateur bikers. From Neyroud, follow the A48 way which will lead you for more than 255 kilometers. On your way, you will encounter vast green valleys and dramatic passes. Among other things, you will take the Arzelier and Mont Rousset passes and come across a beautiful viewpoint over the Mont Aiguille.

Mont Ventoux

This route covers around 220km and takes up to 4 hours. You will have the opportunity to admire one of the emblematic mountains of Vaucluse and Drôme: Mont Ventoux, as you set out. After Sault, you will approach the gorges of the Nesque, then on the way back, you will see the equally spectacular Dentelles de Montmirail.

Motorcycle tours for a weekend in the Drôme

The Napoleon route

In less than 20 hours, you will travel across the country. The departure is from Dardilly towards the D 307 then you will be heading south across the Rhône valley. To return from Gorges du Verdon, you follow the Route Napoléon.

The blue road

A route that will take you across Drôme and beyond! The route connects Paris to Monaco via the RN 7 way, stretching over a distance of more than 1050 km and requiring around 17 hours of travel. In two days, you will be able to retrace the route of the legendary Nationale 7, or “vacation route” which was once the longest national road – a real initiatory journey!
