Presentation of the Montélimar Film Festival
Every autumn, Montélimar transforms into the capital of the 7th art! Nestled in the heart of the Drôme, the city hosts this major event: the From Page to Screen Film Festival.
Launched in 2012 by the association Actes en Drôme, it welcomes both film enthusiasts and literature lovers. Its ambition is to bring to life the union between books and the big screen.
This film festival seeks to highlight the beauty of words in all their forms. They can be written, projected, sung, or even danced. It encourages a vibrant dialogue between audiences, artists, and authors. Around 30 premieres are presented each year.
Note that the 2024 edition attracted more than 30,000 attendees, according to the festival’s official website. And keep in mind that renowned figures such as Bertrand Tavernier, Sabine Azéma, Philippe Torreton, and Clovis Cornillac have already been among the prestigious guests of this Drôme-based event!
