The Pierrelatte Crocodile Farm

This farm located deep in the Drôme is a rich and captivating nature park. In addition to crocodiles, you can admire turtles, lizards and many species of birds, as well as tropical plants and large trees.

Le Palais idéal du Facteur Cheval

Be sure to add Le Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval to your to-do list, an architectural masterpiece by a self-taught artist with a passion for Baroque art and an extravagance to rival Dalí. Ferdinand Cheval spent 33 years of his life building his monument. Today, it’s a must-see attraction in the Drôme.

Visit the Miniature Provençal Village

The Provençal village is a unique activity to plan with your family in the Drôme. Built by talented master santon makers, it is the largest creation of its kind in the world. It comprises more than 80 houses ranging in height from 1 to 1.20 metres. They were built using the most common building materials in the region: stone, wood and cement. The Via Ferrata

The Via Ferrata du rocher de St-Julien is one of the most beautiful in Europe at 1700 m long. Located in the Drôme and Vercors regions, it offers several route options, including one specially adapted for families,  Pitchouno (“the small”). At 170 m long, you can finish this basic family route in 30 minutes to 1 hour. A unique experience out in nature!

Aeroplume Flight in a Cave: One-of-a-Kind

You can explore Salamander Cave on an Aeroplume flight. This lighter-than-air balloon is steered using 2 large ‘fins’. There’s no need to worry about safety; a professional will accompany you. A unique experience!

Hiking in Gueulards Canyon

This beautiful and unique hike in the Vercors will take you through gorges and steep cliffs. The narrow passages and cairns you will have to cross will certainly make your head spin. This moderately difficult 10.2-kilometre hike can be completed in less than 4 hours.

Rappelling Down Crest Tower

Rappelling down this historic monument, the tallest dungeon in France, is a unique experience. You’ll descend the 52-metre tower under the supervision of state-certified professionals. Due to the popularity of this unique attraction, you will need to book in advance.

Trapeze Lessons

Located in Margès in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Les Siamangs trapeze school offers classes for all ages from March to December. The classes are taught by experienced instructors.
